Deets: FREE SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK 2026!
ROMEO AND JULIET! THE WINTER’S TALE!
Beginning May 22, The Public’s Associate Artistic Director/Resident Director Saheem Ali brings Shakespeare’s legendary star-crossed lovers to Central Park with ROMEO AND JULIET. Never was there a story of more woe, or more romance, than the Bard’s tale of two lovers from warring families. Don’t miss this ravishing new production!
Beginning July 25, Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan returns to Free Shakespeare in the Park with a spellbinding new production of THE WINTER’S TALE. Honesty is a fool and true love the only answer in this mysterious, romantic tale of defiance and destiny.
We can’t wait to see you at The Delacorte for FREE SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK, sponsored by the Jerome L. Greene Foundation, part of SHAKESPEARE FOR THE CITY 2026, presented by Citizens. A summer where the culture belongs to everyone.
Free. For all. Forever.
