October 22-31
Deets: Mayor Mamdani just announced the largest Trick-or-Streets ever: 160 car-free Open Streets and plazas across all five boroughs, all October long. It's all free, with trick-or-treating, face painting, live music, games, and new neighborhood walking tours from the Municipal Art Society.
Cultural organizations, community groups and schools will transform neighborhood streets and plazas into spaces for New Yorkers of all ages to celebrate the spooky season safely and together. New this year, the Municipal Art Society of New York will offer free guided walking tours highlighting the history, architecture and public spaces of participating neighborhoods, and Street Lab will produce festive events at select public schools across the city.
