Deets: Genesis House and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) invite visitors to witness the future of AAPI design at Genesis House. Over the past five months, emerging AAPI designers Allina Liu, Kim Shui, and Terrence Zhou of Bad Binch TongTong took part in the third annual CFDA | Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation Grant to craft bespoke collections that encapsulate the intersection between their cultural heritage and contemporary influences. The winner of the competition, Terrence Zhou of Bad Binch TongTong, received a total $100,000 grant to further support his blossoming career in the fashion industry.

Genesis House is showcasing all three collections from the program participants in the Showroom where guests can admire the custom garments on display and gain insights into the inspiration behind each collection. The installation honors emerging designers while celebrating the promising talent shaping the future of fashion.

This winter, come explore the intersection of fashion, culture, and design at Genesis House, where the final collections from the CFDA | Genesis House AAPI Design + Innovation Grant will be on display through February 22.
