Deets: The Big East Conference is at Madison Square Gardens next week but the real fun is across the street at Macy’s as Starter, one the most innovative and authentic sports apparel companies in the world, is bringing a special tournament-week activation celebrating the culture, history, and style of Big East basketball. 

On Thursday, March 12 from 12PM–9PM, Starter invites fans to Macy’s Herald Square to see the unveiling of an exclusive collection and an unforgettable in-store experience. Featuring a live broadcast of the Big East Rewind Podcast hosted by Chuck Everson and Sonny Spera, with special guest Carl Banks, surprise player appearances, and surprise moments for fans throughout the day.

Fans can see the Big East Rewind Podcast live in action with special guests: Walter Berry (St. John’s), Reggie Williams (Georgetown), Terry Dehere (Seton Hall), Eric Murdock (Providence), Alvin Williams (Villanova), Gary McLain (Villanova’s 1985 Championship team), and Chris Smith (UConn).

Starter’s limited-edition Big East collection spotlights legendary programs like the St. John's Red Storm, UConn Huskies, Providence Friars, Villanova Wildcats, Georgetown Hoyas, Marquette Golden Eagles, Creighton Bluejays, DePaul Blue Demons, Butler Bulldogs, Seton Hall Pirates, and Xavier Musketeers, all reimagined through bold, retro-inspired designs that celebrate the legacy and passion of Big East basketball. The collection will be exclusively available at Macy’s Herald Square, Lids 42nd Street and Starter while supplies last.
