Deets: Unclaimed Baggage, in partnership with the Society of Illustrators, brings Love Luggage® to life during National Foster Care Month - transforming suitcases into one-of-a-kind works of art for children in foster care.

Over 20 world-renowned artists—including illustrators of Dragons Love Tacos and They All Saw a Cat—will transform reclaimed luggage into original works of art that reflect the journey of foster children and their realities.

The professional artworks will become a traveling installation in public places like airports, museums, and libraries across the country, encouraging the public to pause, see foster care from a new lens, empathize and make a difference—one suitcase at a time.

Expect: Live painting by renowned children’s book illustrators, guests and students creating suitcases to be donated to foster children, readings of Tuesday’s Bear - A Tale of the Lost and Found and a chance to witness (and be part of) art that makes a real impact.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is free and open to the public.
