Deets: New Yorkers looking to welcome a new pet into their home this summer are invited to meet over 40 adoptable dogs and cats from Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in NYC at the Petco Love Pet Adoption Block Party on Sunday, June 7 in Union Square.

Best Friends Animal Society will be on-site with puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats of all ages looking for loving homes. To help more pets get adopted, adoption fees will be waived for all Best Friends pets in attendance.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public.
