Deets: With America’s 250th anniversary approaching and the once-in-a-generation opportunity to see the largest-ever flotilla of tall ships from around the world, Pier 57 is one of the best places for families to spend the day and view the historic, nautical spectacle.

From 10AM – 3PM, visitors and locals alike can enjoy live music, games, and specials from Market 57 vendors at Pier 57’s free, nearly 2-acre Rooftop Park while catching the Sail4th 250 fleet along the Hudson and lower Manhattan skyline – making it a fun, family-friendly destination for the 250th Independence Day.

While the Rooftop Park will close at 3PM, guests can continue the day on the ground floor, where the viewing will continue on the promenade and western edge of Pier 57. The Market 57 food hall will also remain open until 8PM

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public. Please note,  Pier 57’s rooftop park is not a firework viewing location and will close at 3PM on July 4. The park is accessible from the ground floor’s southern entrance, directly across from Little Island.

NYPD will be restricting access to the West Side Highway starting at 6AM. Access to the pier will be limited to pass-holders only. Passes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6AM at the intersection of 15th Street and 10th Avenue.
