Deets: On Thursday, July 9th, Bazooka Candy and Siegelman Stable are hosting a Bazooka Joe look-alike contest in the Lower East Side, kicking off a collaboration between two New York-born brands.

The competition will take place at the iconic candy and antique shop Zaidi’s, located at 139 Division Street in Dimes Square from 5-7PM.

Bazooka has been putting a comic (and a story) in New Yorkers' pockets since it was born in Brooklyn more than 75 years ago. Siegelman Stable, founded in NYC in 2020, has built its name on New York storytelling ever since, even dressing the King of New York for the Knicks’ championship parade this year. Together, they're releasing a limited merch capsule anchored by a custom cap in Bazooka's signature red and blue, with a side pocket sized to hold one piece of gum.
