Deets: This month, the magical world of Tove Jansson's Moomins lands in the heart of New York City. FAO Schwarz, the iconic Rockefeller Center toy store, is hosting a Moomin pop-up store from 4th to 31st August, bringing the adventure-loving trolls to American fans of all ages.

Created by Tove Jansson, the Moomin family and their friends have delighted people of all ages around the world for over 80 years.

In the US, the timeless stories of friendship, courage, and togetherness have been making their mark increasingly over the last few years — and this month, FAO Schwarz offers visitors a chance to step into Moominvalley with a fun assortment of products at a Moomin pop-up store.

Shoppers can expect to find plush toys, including hand-crafted collectibles made by British teddy bear artisans Charlie Bears, a selection of Moomin books and coloring books, BonBon’s recently launched Moomin candy, and an array of Moomin-themed accessories.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public. The Moomin pop-up store is open now until August 31st 2026 at FAO Schwarz’s store at the Rockefeller Centre.
