Deets: Back for another season, Jazz @ Met returns to Metropolitan Park with a free outdoor concert series celebrating the energy of live jazz in the heart of National Landing. Hosted by the National Landing BID, presented in partnership with the DC Jazz Festival and sponsored by Amazon, Jazz @ Met kicks off Thursday, May 7, and continues every other Thursday through June 18 with a diverse lineup of local and internationally influenced jazz artists.
Enjoy live performances spanning New Orleans jazz, Brazilian rhythms, go-go inspired jazz, and acoustic sets, all on the Central Green. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy onsite offerings like Toby’s Homemade Ice Cream and free giveaways from Mocktail Club—better-for-you premium non-alcoholic beverages inspired by travel for the sober curious and mindful drinkers. Plus, take part in hands-on art activities curated by artists from the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington’s Innovation Studio. Attendees are encouraged to stop by one of Met Park’s dining destinations for a bite to eat before, during, or after the performances.
