Deets: Forest Lawn’s 66th annual Veterans Day Celebration will be an in-person event and a vibrant homage to veterans of the United States military. The event, held outside the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills on Monday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, will honor members of the American armed forces with a flyover, patriotic music, an invocation and benediction, a color guard, a wreath laying, and more.
Program highlights include:
Keynote speech by Captain (CA) LaStacia Neat, Aide to the Commanding General, California State Guard
Presidential proclamation by Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton of Los Angeles Police Department
Invocation and benediction by Monsignor Frank Hicks of St. Basil’s Catholic Church, Los Angeles
Remarks by Los Angeles Councilmember John Lee, District 12
Posting and retiring of the colors by the Los Angeles Police Department Honor Guard
Honor Guard salute by the Los Angeles Police Department
Music performances by the Los Angeles Police Concert Band; Harry Farrar, Pipe Major, Scottish Bagpipes & Drums; Walter Salvari and the St. Patrick’s Catholic School Drum Corps; soloist Heather Catalena; and pianist Michael Parnell
Master of ceremonies: Michael Ellington, 36-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department
