Deets: Tuesday night (11/11), The Art of Elysium, a nonprofit organization dedicated to healing and inspiring through the arts, hosted its 2025 HEAVEN Gala at The Rosewood Miramar in Montecito. The annual black-tie gala honored the following:
Academy Award®–nominated filmmaker, producer, and visionary storyteller Lee Daniels was honored with The Visionary Award where he imagined Heaven as a tapestry of eternal peace, inner-child reconnection, and creative rebirth—inviting guests to journey from formal elegance into the playful innocence of childhood, culminating in a pajama-themed sleepover of wonder.
Multi-hyphenate artists and activists Aly & AJ Michalka received The Spirit of Elysium Award for their years of volunteerism, creative collaboration, and dedication to service through the arts.
Award-winning CFDA designer Christian Siriano was recognized as the Fashion Visionary, who created a custom collection of couture pajamas for the after party and a special fashion moment within the Heaven Gala installation.
Highlights from the evening:
Andra Day presented Lee Daniels with his Visionary Award.
Mike Eizinger presented Aly & AJ with the Spirit of Elysium Award.
The evening featured moving performances by honorees Aly & AJ, Andra Day, Yola & Leoni, Nikka Costa, Thomas Dekker, and more.
Highlights from the pajama-themed after party included David Arquette dressed as a clown, Jason Segel introducing Bob Baker Marionettes, specialty cocktails crafted by Shanola Hampton, as well as a karaoke dance party with covers performed by Zuri Marley, Linda Perry, and more.
