Deets: One Times Square, home of the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball, will host a special, one-day-only event offering guests the opportunity to personalize Waterford Infinite Edition crystals from the Ball and Waterford champagne flutes. On Thursday, November 12, from 3-5PM, Richard White, Waterford’s Master Cutter, will be on-site at One Times Square to hand-engrave Waterford crystal keepsakes from the New Year’s Eve Ball and champagne flutes for ticketed guests at the One Times Square Skywalk Viewing Deck Experience and Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball Experiences.
This event will provide visitors with a closer look at the artistry behind Waterford’s crystal designs, which have been a part of the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration for more than 25 years. Founded in 1783, Waterford is an enduring symbol of Irish heritage and craftsmanship, a legacy it brings to the world’s most iconic countdown as the NYE Ball’s official crystal. With more than 240 years of crystal-making heritage, Waterford brings a distinctive blend of artistry, precision and timeless design, continuing a tradition that has become synonymous with one of the world's most iconic celebrations.
Hint for the Average Socialite: Tickets are on sale now at OneTimesSquare.com. Waterford crystals from the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball and Waterford champagne flutes will be available for purchase on-site, with prices for crystals starting at $140 and a set of champagne flutes at $230.
