Deets: Madison Avenue will be transformed into a true French village for the largest Bastille Day celebration held outside of France, which attracted more than 50,000 visitors last year.

This year's L'Alliance New York Bastille Day, under the theme "From Montmartre to Manhattan," will feature a monumental interactive art installation, a Parisian-style street market, French food and wine tastings, live performances, a pet parade and costume contest, vintage Citroën cars, workshops for children and adults, film screenings, and more than 60 exhibitors showcasing the very best of French culture and craftsmanship.

New Yorkers are also invited to bring their pets for a Carnaval des Animaux parade and costume contest presented in partnership with New York Dog Parade.

Vintage cars will mark the 2026 Bastille Day celebrations as an official stop on the Greater NY Citroën & Vélosolex Club's Annual Bastille Day Rally and a rare classic car will be on display as a teaser for the upcoming Retromobile New York car show.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public.
